WHAT IS CHRISTAN BELIEVE
The belief in trinity which Allah mention in the glorious quran suratul maida (ch : 5, v : 73) Allah says: “They disbelieve those who say, “Allah is the third of three.” But there is no deity except the One God. If they do not refrain from what they say, a painful torment will befall those among them who disbelieve”
Jesus is god “They disbelieve those who say, “Allah is the Messiah the son of Mary.” But the Messiah himself said, “O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates others with Allah, Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his dwelling is the Fire. The wrongdoers have no saviors.”
Jesus is son of god “The Jews said, “Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians said, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” These are their statements, out of their mouths. They emulate the statements of those who blasphemed before. May Allah assail them! How deceived they are!** They have taken their rabbis and their priests as lords instead of Allah, as well as the Messiah son of Mary. Although they were commanded to worship none but The One God. There is no god except He Glory be to Him; High above what they associate with Him” (ch : 9, v : 30--31)
WHAT BIBLE SAYS ABOUT CHRISTMAX AND IT HISTORY
The Bible’s answer
The Bible does not give the date of Jesus’ birth, nor does it say that we should celebrate his birthday. As McClintock and Strong’s Cyclopedia states: “The observance of Christmas is not of divine appointment, nor is it of NT [New Testament] origin.”
Instead, an examination of the history of Christmas exposes its roots in pagan religious rites. The Bible shows that we offend God if we try to worship him in a way that he does not approve of.—Exodus 32:5-7.
History of Christmas customs
1. Celebrating Jesus’ birthday: “The early Christians did not celebrate [Jesus’] birth because they considered the celebration of anyone’s birth to be a pagan custom.”—The World Book Encyclopedia.
2. December 25: There is no proof that Jesus was born on that date. Church leaders likely chose this date to coincide with pagan festivals held on or around the winter solstice.
3. Gift-giving, feasting, partying: The Encyclopedia Americana says: “Saturnalia, a Roman feast celebrated in mid-December, provided the model for many of the merry-making customs of Christmas. From this celebration, for example, were derived the elaborate feasting, the giving of gifts, and the burning of candles.” The Encyclopædia Britannica notes that “all work and business were suspended” during Saturnalia.
4. Christmas lights: According to The Encyclopedia of Religion, Europeans decorated their homes “with lights and evergreens of all kinds” to celebrate the winter solstice and to combat evil spirits.
5. Mistletoe, holly: “The Druids ascribed magical properties to the mistletoe in particular. The evergreen holly was worshiped as a promise of the sun’s return.”—The Encyclopedia Americana.
6. Christmas tree: “Tree worship, common among the pagan Europeans, survived after their conversion to Christianity.” One of the ways in which tree worship survived is in the custom of “placing a Yule tree at an entrance or inside the house in the midwinter holidays.”—Encyclopædia Britannica.
SENDING GREETING TO CHRISTAN ON CHRISMAX DAY
Chrismax --- is anniversary celebration to remember the birth of Jesus (a.s), who christens believes he is the son God and he died to clear their sins. What a blind believe, Allah says “And for their saying, “We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.” In fact, they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them as if they did. Indeed, those who differ about him are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it, except the following of assumptions. Certainly, they did not kill him Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself. Allah is Mighty and Wise” (ch : 4, v : 157—158). Is clearly known that all their believes are contradicting with the thought of prophet Muhammad (s.w.a), but the contradicting issue here is what ‘’saying happy chrismax didn’t mean I belief with them but rather to bring unity between unit’’ or some says “ no I feel shy because his/her is my friend so to show my consign and care, and to increase our friendship”, I ask where is your walahu and barahu, all this is done to upset Allah, they accused that Jesus is the son of Allah, they also said Jesus is a God, they lie on mother of Jesus (mary), they killed many prophets Allah says “ But for their violation of their covenant, and their denial of Allah’s revelations, and their killing of the prophets unjustly, and their saying, “Our minds are closed.” In fact, Allah has sealed them for their disbelief, so they do not believe, except for a few. And for their faithlessness, and their saying against Mary a monstrous slander.” (ch : 4, v : 155 : 156). And this celebrations is done to remember and praise their belief, can you engage in what will upset the creator (Allah)? Can you show appreciation on those who gather to upset Allah? Can you contribute in those who Allah has cursed? Have you forgotten always you pray that Allah should guide you through the right path but not who you (Allah) are angry with them and not who have cursed, Allah says : “ Guide us to the straight path. The path of those You have blessed, not of those against whom there is anger, nor of those who are misguided, These what they are doing is among biggest sins that upset Allah more, will you propagate in upsetting the almighty Allah? Some people asked but “that means we can interact with them?”, YES AND NO
I said YES because of the verse in the glorious Quran “Today all good things are made lawful for you. And the food of those given the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. So are chaste believing women, and chaste women from the people who were given the Scripture before you, provided you give them their dowries, and take them in marriage, not in adultery, nor as mistresses. But whoever rejects faith, his work will be in vain, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers” (ch : 5, v : 5); the above verse permit us but to interact and discuss with christens even to eat and marry their ladies, because there will not be marriage without interaction and discuss, but this verse is not referring to interaction with their beliefs or act of worship, a true believer is not allow to be engage directly or indirectly in any act of their worships.
I said NO because of the verse in the glorious Quran “O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies; some of them are allies of one another. Whoever of you allies himself with them is one of them. Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.” Firstly what is ally? According to my dictionary here ally means ‘to connect or form a relation between by similitude, resemblance, friendship or love’. Allah says “The Jews and the Christians will not approve of you, unless you follow their creed. Say, “Allah’s guidance is the guidance.” Should you follow their desires, after the knowledge that has come to you, you will have in Allah neither guardian nor helper.” (ch : 2, v : 120). That didn’t means we can’t interact as I said earlier but not in the act of their deen (believes)
True, Islam is
based on the fundamental principle of Oneness of God (Tauheed). Accordingly,
associating any partners with God (Shirk) is the biggest sin in Islam. The Holy
Quran preaches that God begets none and is not begotten. But is it really
‘shirk’ to WISH SOMEONE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS?
Islam is the only faith (other than
Christianity) that makes it mandatory for its followers to believe in the truth
and divine MISSION
OF JESUS. The Holy Quran
teaches that Jesus Christ was a true prophet of God. In this role, he was
similar to other prophets e.g. Prophet Adam, Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses,
Prophet David and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Jesus Christ was sent as the Messiah
to the Children of Israel to reform and lead them in spirituality.
Though historians have debated the exact date,
hundreds of millions of Christians world over mark December 25th as Christ’s birthday. It is a time
of festivity and community for them. As such, saying “Merry Christmas” is
merely a gesture of goodwill and love, and nothing else. How this implies an
agreement with the notion that Jesus was the son of God, or a sworn testimony
that he was definitely born that day, is beyond me. It is simply ridiculous.
If saying “Merry Christmas” implies belief in
Jesus’s status as son of God, the same
would apply to many other things e.g. saying ‘Goodbye’. Goodbye WAS COINED FROM the longer phrase “God be with ye.” Though I believe we
all have the same one God, those who immerse themselves into meaningless
intricacies should know that this God (originally in Goodbye) is the GOD that
most Christians believe begot a son.
So, is saying goodbye also haram and equal to
committing shirk?
Similarly, when a Christian says “God bless
you,” do we question what they mean by God and are we guilty of equating
partners with Allah, just because they might hold a different notion of God?
We know that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) even
allowed a DELEGATION OF BYZANTINE CHRISTIANS from Najran to worship in his own
mosque in Madina. When they asked for a place to worship, the Holy Prophet
(PBUH) responde
SUMMARY
Christmax is the act of believes and worship that is not allow for a true believer to propagate directly or indirectly, because is against our believe
